Wall Street Without Walls (“we”, “this site”) publishes editorial analysis of community development finance at wallstreetwithoutwalls.com. This policy explains what we collect, which is very little.
What we do not do
We want to be specific, because most privacy policies are written to permit as much as possible rather than to describe what actually happens.
- We run no analytics platform. There is no Google Analytics, no Adobe, no Plausible, no Fathom, and no equivalent.
- We run no advertising or behavioural trackers. No advertising pixels, no remarketing tags, no data brokers, no social media tracking scripts.
- We set no first-party or third-party tracking cookies.
- We do not sell, rent, or share reader data with anyone, because we do not collect a dataset that would make that possible.
- We have no newsletter and maintain no mailing list, so there is nothing to unsubscribe from.
What we do collect
Server logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes requests to this site and retains standard technical information — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp, and response status. This is a normal function of serving a website and is used for delivery, security, and abuse prevention. We use it in aggregate, if at all, and we do not attempt to identify individual readers from it. Cloudflare’s handling of this data is governed by its own privacy policy.
Contact form submissions. If you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address, subject, and message you enter. We use these only to respond to you and, where relevant, to verify or correct an article. We do not add contact-form addresses to any list. Submissions are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-preserving bot check that does not track users across sites, and are delivered to our editorial inbox by a transactional email provider.
Fonts. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google’s servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. We do not receive or store anything from that exchange.
Retention
Contact-form correspondence is retained while a matter is open and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, then deleted. We do not maintain a reader database.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Because the only personal information we hold is correspondence you have sent us, such a request is usually straightforward. Contact us through the form and we will action it.
Children
This site is written for finance professionals and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the page rather than made silently.
